Meet two globe-trotters in Costa Rica
In Costa Rica, Tarcoles two french globe-trotters came to us mid-July. We talked a while, and they wrote the following article on their blog:
“A day’s drive is to reach the Pacific coast the next day, on the other side of the mountain. Through the jungle, plantations, pastures, the jungle again. unusual spectacle on the bridge over the Rio Tarcoles: huge crocodiles (5-6m?) digest quietly along the shores below: we did not want to fall from the parapet! On first beach we found, we meet Jean-Luc and Hugo. For 4 years they are working on a project funded by the European Space Agency. It is to convince local collect waste plastics not made the sea ( here, after being pushed by the Tarcoles), and to assemble a dramatic and visible space to be photographed not satellite. “It’s a joke!”. It was the spontaneous reaction of Nico at explanation of Jean-Luc, but it seems true. They have already tried with varying success in India, Nepal, Turkey, Israel … and left for South America until September. Features on www.ouroboros-team.org. ”
